EHLERT/BRYAN CONTINUES TO WORK ON U.S. EMBASSY PROJECTS
For many years, Ehlert/Bryan, Inc. has had the privilege of doing site surveys, security and building upgrades and additions to US Embassies and Consulates for the Department of State Overseas Building Operations. In more recent years, Ehlert/Bryan, Inc. has successfully completed a number of new Design/Build projects for US Embassies all over the world. In 2008, we were awarded three new Design/Build projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Kyiv, Ukraine, and Gauyaquil, Ecuador.

The Echelon – Alexandria, VA
The project is a pair of residential towers set over a 4 level below grade parking garage. The West Tower has 24 levels and the East Tower has 20 levels, each with two additional mechanical levels. One tower will be dedicated for sale as condominiums and the other as rental units. Each building will have a roof level swimming pool. The building is sure to become the premier residential building in the Northern Virginia market. The project has a gross square footage of 658,327 SF with 474,000 SF being residential and the remainder as below grade parking. |

George Mason University Performing Arts Center,
Prince William, VA
The construction of a new Performing Arts Center of approximately 100,000 SF on the Prince William Campus of George Mason University. The new four story facility is planned to include a 1,100 seat multi-purpose hall, 300 seat teaching theatre, approximately 10,000 SO of University academic program space and the necessary support spaces. The architect has modeled the theatre after the famous Teatro alla Scala opera house in Milan. The design is such that everyone feels like they are in the front row. |

Shepherd University Wellness Center – Shepherdstown, WV
New 73,400 SF, one and two story wellness center addition with a competition size swimming pool, multiple gymnasiums, multi-purpose rooms, fitness areas, a three-lane running track, and the necessary support areas. The building will be connected to the existing facility and will be centered by a large rotunda with open areas suitable for large groups |
